    SyGAP

My attempt at a next-generation 'Global Administration Panel' powerful enough to run a million-user forum, yet simple enough to be ideal for even a single-page profile.
  • Latest Design

    Syridium SC

The latest design revolution this site has undergone. Back to one of my original (at least I think it was...) ideas for this site: a profile / portfolio. » Live Site » Development Concepts
  • Future Projects

    1. SyGAP
My next project, which I intend to be simple yet extremely powerful, for use with future projects.
    2. Syridium Static
The first intended `application` for SyGAP, Static will be a simple CMS similar in objective to iCFPS, but tackled in a very different way.
  • Future Designs

    1. SyDV002
Currently unnamed, this design will be part of SyGAP.
    2. SyDV003
Currently unnamed, this design will be part of at least one SyGAP `application`.
    3. WormsNet v4
      Sometime.

  • Legacy Projects

    1. iCFPSAll - [Defunct]
The 100% Flat-File CMS. Originally designed to be a free, fast and usable flat-file CMS, iCFPS retiried a nearly-complete free, fastish, flat-file CMS.
    2. vuBB0.2.1 - [Defunct]
Free Lite PHP/MySQL bulletin board. The majority of the 0.2.1 codebase cannot be attributed to myself. Only a small part of it was my work, namely a couple of fixes, a fair bit of HTML and CSS (ACP / touch-ups), and the Nano-Portal.
    3. Bash.org QDB RSS Feed
My own attempt at bringing Bash.org QDB to a couple of RSS feeds. What's different to the other sites? Well, it works. Right now. Also, there's a "Top 100" feed. That's different.
  • Legacy Designs

    1. HForumv3
My (winning) entry into the QuickSilver Forums Skinning Contest (2006)
[Development Shot/s | QSF Skin Demo | Download Skin]
    2. iCFPS3.1*-site
Classicly blue, white and black. One of my favourite designs, due to it's simplicity and cleanliness.
      [Development Shot/s]
    3. YSIMB - Your Score In My Book2.0beta
Currently unreleased, this is the second layout for YSIMB which, for some reason, was never put up. Oh well.

    Syridium SC

Started mid 2003, renamed late 2005, Syridium SC is my web design, programming and development organisation.
Under the name many things PHP have been created. Lovely convenient things.
  • Latest Service

    YakIP

Weighting in at a mere 1.15kb, (3kb decompressed), it is less than one 60th of the size of similar websites, yet it displays over four times as much information!

  • About Syridium

    1. Started sometime late 2005/early 2006, Syridium SC was born (out of the grave of D$I). Intended to be a mix of a portfolio and a download site, it was to be a place I could stick anything virtual I developed.
    2. I tried turning it into a semi-commercial site, to develop one or two key projects, and little else. It didn't work out too well, so Syridium is back to a branded portfolio site.
  • Legacy Services

    1. YakIP
Simple, quick and compact, YakIP is a personal connection information harvester. (It tells you your external IP address)

  • About Me

    1. My least favourite part of every portfolio, about me. (It's not the same as me throwing all of my plans onto a blogish list!)
    2. Admitedly, I do enjoy regurgitating my humble development history. Especially the first part.
    3. I began teaching myself (from examples) HTML mid-2003, and jumped straight into raw HTML. No WYSIWYG editor craping out ugly code. Merely one kid typing out ugly code.
    4. Around a year later, thanks to Caleb, (TekHawk), I began to learn PHP. Thinking my PHP was teh pwnage, I launched into iCFPS. Naturally, the first few were hardly worthy of the tag CMS.
    5. Anyway, over the years I've learned a fair bit of PHP and XHTML/CSS. I now believe those who code entirely with tables, invalid X/HTML and neglect CSS are committing a crime.
